Just checking with all the bed wetters. Does this mean Newcastle are still going to leapfrog us very soon and end up winning everything?

Last week, it was accepted that they'd spend it well, become a powerhouse and we'd slip further down. Now I'm wondering if this was talk about us competing against them in the Championship?

Howe is a good manager, but I have concerns about him. He did an unbelievable job at Bournemouth but the Burnley spell is my concern. Sometimes managers are just the right man at the right place at the right time. He was ideal for Bournemouth, but that doesn't mean it will work elsewhere.

He's not the worst choice for Newcastle, but I have no idea how it will work out. It could be great or it could go terribly.

Newcastle might have just sealed relegation by appointing that clown. Keeping hold of Bruce would have been better. Hopefully if nothing else it finally stops Eddie Howe from ever being in the conversation for Everton manager.

Eddie Howe is what Mark Hughes was at Man City a sacrificial Lamb, his shelf life isn't long for a Petro Dollar club who have aspirations to win things for a sports washing program, i'll give him 18 months ( summer 23) then they will probably get Emery or someone of that stature once they have a plan and structure in place, Howe isn't a winner at the top level of the game.
