Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

Again where is the racism.

For using what everyone in the media or anyone who works in the economic markets calls a oil producing country that trades oil for dollars.

Try again Mate to accuse me of racism for the umpteenth time, petro dollar is not a racist term, how can it be racist???

And someone started a thread now about the thing I was talking about regarding the charter and extra CL places, you'll see they are both connected, linked, joined up ir whatever twosome word you want to use Mate.

And it's come out now that Newcastle's ownership have taken the side of the six clubs and will veto those charter plans as well, they know it will affect them as they'll be dining at the elite club table soon won't they just like the other two petro dollar teams who got there quickly.

I can see why people would consider racism in your posts, because not once have you had a go at white owners of clubs, despite being asked many, many times about your own owners and their morally corrupt business practices.

I would also say that racism is all about context, yes it is hard to read context unless it is obviously pointed out. What I read, however, is vitriol and a lot of it towards the same owners consistently, while, as mentioned above, skirting the issue of other owners who happen to not be from a certain part of the world.

When you constantly use a term, that is a normally a widely used innocent phrase, in relation to how you talk about them I think the context can easily be seen as being racist.

It may not be meant on your part but that is certainly how it could come across to other people.

It's all about context. Everyone on here knows your opinion of the "oil club" When a BBC newsreader mentions petro dollars I know he is going to talk about the economy or something. When you say it, all I hear is Tommy Robinson,

I read on on a Twitter about them using a veto vote against these plans, can't blame them if it's true, it could affect them.

The spending they going to be doing is going to dining at the CL table soon.

Not sure why they are calling those clubs elite, are City elite, even Spurs, Arsenal have lost their biggest club in London status.
You would be an utter moron to think otherwise. An elite squad, and elite manager, an elite director of football and elite backroom staff, an elite academy with elite coaches and elite young players and and elite attitude with only one goal in mind; keep winning trophies.

I think it's more about your sudden intense dislike of the Geordie Nation. Quite discriminatory IMHO.

We have established before that petro dollar state is a pejorative used towards Islamic/arabic countries, mainly the ones that took control of their resources and booted out white westerners who essentially robbed their resources. Nobody ever days it about Norway, or Scotland etc. But weve been over that. You're better than using language like that.

I'm just not seeing how they are linked mate. One issue is about a charter that is backed by supporters groups, to try and regulate the game better. The other is about changing rules of a competition to move away from meritocracy and earning your place (which was 1 of many big criticisms of the super league plans).

What has UEFA potential plans on their competition got to do with having much needed independent regulation of football? Like why does having independent regulation only become passable if a separate competition moves away from being meritocratic? Surely you either think there should be independent regulation, or you dont?
I'm happy to concede there may be a link, but I just cant see one.

As for Newcastle, I have no idea what their position is, but I'd be very wary of any org, in any area that is opposed to independent regulation. To me it's a major red flag.

I'm not being horrible mate, but twitter is really not a verifiable source.

Manchester are elite front top to bottom. The flag bearers of English football over the last 10 years or more. It must be 20 domestic trophies in that time.

Jib it with the Racism shouts, pathetic.

Question: Why?

If somebody believes that someone else is being even slightly racist surely they are allowed to explain why they think that. Which is what has happened, nobody has been burned at the stake here.

It has been a simple, 'belief there is evidence that you are being racist', 'accused responds back and defends himself' so all good, no?

Wait hang on. So when clubs come into money and they have a transfer window it actually makes them better????

What is this magic?
