Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

Uefa will be giving extra CL places to clubs in the revamped CL.

Extra slots will be given to clubs with the highest coefficients who didn't qualify in their leagues automatic CL positions.

Was on SSN last night, the Sky 6 won't sign up to the new government charter until these new Uefa rules have been set in stone.

So Newcastle will have to finish top 4 outright if they want CL football post 2024 ,as of now they haven't even got any coefficient points and the likes of the Sky 6 clubs would get those two slots based on the Uefa coefficient table right now.

That's basically just cheating isn't it, qualifying for a competition that you haven't actually qualified for. Don't you agree Evertheoptimist ?

This will make you very happy. Its times like this that I wish you and your other five scab clubs had done one and peed of to the ESL and taken your teleclapping fans with you.

Why are the 2 things linked? They seem unrelated to me.

Just like the other 2 petro dollar state teams, Newcastle will be crashing into the CL and staying there by way throwing obscene money around and quickly to get in there, getting Dan Ashworth is a excellent start on building their recruitment team.

Ashley ran that club frugally, no debt, no losses and way below FFP spending, the have leeway of spending 250-300 million without falling foul of FFP this summer window.

This is just an extension of FFP- something to try and stop other clubs from taking your slice of the cake and you dont like it.

I think you've missed my point mate.

It was I dont see how the two things are connected? A charter for this country has nothing to do with any proposed requests to change (and let's face it dilute) the CL.

I'm also not sure what Newcastle have to do with it? Or why there is the need for the continued racism.

Again where is the racism.

For using what everyone in the media or anyone who works in the economic markets calls a oil producing country that trades oil for dollars.

Try again Mate to accuse me of racism for the umpteenth time, petro dollar is not a racist term, how can it be racist???

And someone started a thread now about the thing I was talking about regarding the charter and extra CL places, you'll see they are both connected, linked, joined up ir whatever twosome word you want to use Mate.

And it's come out now that Newcastle's ownership have taken the side of the six clubs and will veto those charter plans as well, they know it will affect them as they'll be dining at the elite club table soon won't they just like the other two petro dollar teams who got there quickly.

Just to clarify, not that it’s any better mind…

But you have to actually qualify for Europe for it to apply, so Arsenal for example this wouldn’t actually qualify for CL.

I’m sure if a Real or Barça mess up, they’ll be straight over to amend it.

I haven’t seen anything that suggests Newcastle approves it… Care to provide evidence ?

I read on on a Twitter about them using a veto vote against these plans, can't blame them if it's true, it could affect them.

The spending they going to be doing is going to dining at the CL table soon.

Not sure why they are calling those clubs elite, are City elite, even Spurs, Arsenal have lost their biggest club in London status.

So Twitter is your source ?

Well chatter on there about 14 votes to pass things in the PL.

The charter should have passed, six clubs were against that we know and those votes are not enough to stall this charter, it didn't pass the vote because it never had 14 votes, so that means a club has sided with the other 6 clubs to stall the charter, which club could it be?

Could Newcastle's new ownership align with those six clubs now, that's looking like the case now.

Do you believe terrorist money-laundering money is morally superior to oil money?
