Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

Part of it comes from the fact Sunderland and Everton have been relatively close in recent years (obviously all relative). With your gesture for Bradley Lowery etc. Obviously Pickford as well, and all the Everton players we've had as well. They can't stand the idea that they're not everyone's second team.

But generally Mags I know think you're "bitter" about their success and jealous (as are we apparently).

I think your fans online have also been especially outspoken about the moral bankruptcy of their supporters, which they can't live with.

Plus they're all fat, scruffy, horse punching bellends who are basically Kopites of the Northeast

Yeah if they finish in the top 4 that might change, but I don't think they will
Yeah no chance of top 4. I think they'll finish 8th personally. Fulham and Brighton are miles better than them, and obviously Liverpool are going to waltz into the Champions League.

Arsenal, United, City, Liverpool, Spurs, Brighton, Fulham, Newcastle.

'least they're modernising...

It's a bit of a strange one. I love Newcastle and the North East in general, but Newcastle supporters are by and large terrible.
I've been to Newcastle a fair few times over the years and always found it to be a nice enough place, last time I was there in December for funeral of one of the lads I was in the army with, he was a Newcastle fan and a top lad, as are quite a few I served with. There's a lad at work now who's from up that way and also a Newcastle fan and again he's spot on. 'Online fans' are a different matter, though the same seems to be for most clubs, including us. My real life interactions with Geordies have mostly always been positive, but we all have different experiences.

COYB!

John.

I love Geordies in general but the self entitlement and the bile from a number of Newcastle fans, not to mention the 1980s "calm down, calm down ' gestures, and their welcoming the horrendous owners with open arms. I'm sure there are lots of fair minded fans, and I'm not daft enough to think we don't have our fair share of eejits, but I think they have more!

They also have formed a friendship with the kopites.
