Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

Funny thing is, Al Shabab isn't one of the four clubs owned by PIF, it isn't even one of the 4 partially owned by the PIF.

The cynic in my thinks they're trying too hard to prove it's not underhand. Besides which, if PIF wanted to get money to the Al Shabab owner (also royalty) it's easy enough.

It's for that very reason there's absolutely no point at all another Emirati royal buying another PL team to compete against Man City. The Abu Dhabi family outranks everyone else so it's pointless.

I'm sure they would have had a word.

Almiron stuff absolutely stinks, on top of Saint Maximin in the summer just gone, they can just palm any old bum off to Saudi Arabia rather than actually have to sell a good player at any point. Utterly bent and defunct sport. Not a level playing field whatsoever.
Almiron is a 5mill player at best who hit a purple patch last season. They’re getting a bit more brazen now after realising they going to have to take a dodgy route.

Do what? Sell a complete dosser for 10x his value to one of their satellite teams? Yeah I wish everyone else had that option. Stop pretending they’re victims in this.

They are doing it because of those same rules we are limited by and been punished for....those rules that are in place to stop clubs growing.

They should not need to do these shady deals to push the that top 6.

Is this not the whole "corruption" we are banging on about !?!

How’s it fair that they can exploit being owned by a nation state to get around the rules? I refuse to feel sorry for them because they have to palm one of their crap losers off to Saudi Arabia for an absurd fee. We don’t get the same pleasures.

I reckon if a state wanted to own us the PL rats would change the rules on ownership, until the state gets bored and does one, then they'd change it back

Erm.....IF THESE STUPID RULES WHERE NOT IN PLACE........THEY WOULD NOT BE DOING THIS.

How are you not getting this ??

Their owners would just spend money and buy new players
