Got a feeling Osman will start tonight. Really hope he doesn't.

Can see Ross coming back to form recently and he won't get a better chance than to bum these all over the show with big players missing.

Think it'll be a good night, can see us closing the gap to 5. Swansea are no pushovers and the Emirates pitch will suit them.

Anyway about us. McCarthy to open his account and big rom with a header for a half time 2-0 lead, they'll pull one back just after the restart but we'll keep pushing for a 3rd and hold into the 2-1 victory.

Come on blueboys

Barkley will start I reckon.

A bit nervous for this one. Get the big W - and not only 3 points, but a win should be the foot on the throat for that oft-mentioned Mars Bar for one of the Toffees.

And Chico, read it all, as usual. Your occasionally tangential rantings are far more interesting and informative than any info put out by the four-letter network here in the States.

I'd like to think he'll play Ross and Deulofeu instead of Osman and Mirallas to give him a kick up the ass, but I'm guessing it might be the complete opposite.

I wince every time I see Osmans name in the starting lineup when you've got Ross sitting on the bench waiting to run the show against teams like these

i think osmans a nailed on starter tonight, i think 3 games in a week will mean martinez will rotate, might even see naismith..

Given how little possession we kept against Swansea, Osman mightn't be a bad selection for tonight.
