….the definition of ‘playing like the game matters’. All the money, all the medals, nothing to prove & he still does that towards the end of his playing days. Incredible footballer.

In some ways it was quite strange towards the end of last season as both Bowler and Nathan Broadhead were coming back from injuries in the U23s and both looked class. Not “ put them in the PL” class but decent. Broadhead got another contract Bowler we let go .Don’t suppose by any chance we’re due money from a future sale? I assume he was released and therefore there’s nothing like that but here’s hoping.
'jobs for the boys' crew will not be impressed
Steven Schumacher looks to be doing well at Plymouth too.Good luck to him. If people took their blinkers off they’d see that some of our ex-players are highly regarded for their knowledge and expertise - Anthony Barry at Chelsea recently came to the fore,Lee Carsley, Tim Cahill, David Weir and even Jose Baxter to name a few. I’ve no problems with ex players returning to us if they merit it ……but sometimes they stay too long.
