Very sad news.
So very sad to hear this, a true hero and warrior for this club, certainly for me anyway no bigger Evertonian has worn the shirt, thoughts with Big Mick and his family.

Mick along with latchford were my absolute hero's growing up supporting us really sad newsOne of the favourite sons of Goodison folklore. A true legend in the eyes of those lucky enough to have seen him play.
Met him once, along with Terry (RIP) and they were like the Morecombe and Wise of their era.
Best wishes to Mick, and as the battler we all witnessed who refused to accept second best, I am certain he will battle this terrible ailment.
Good luck Mick, and I am sure the love of your family will be of great comfort.
Always,if we needed a goal,ten/fifteen minutes from the end,Mick would get thrown up front to cause some chaos!!Sad this.
Was only talking about him going up front and playing as a striker as a ‘plan b’ with me dad the other night.
Knew we were desperate then. lolAlways,if we needed a goal,ten/fifteen minutes from the end,Mick would get thrown up front to cause some chaos!!
Too true, wasn't Geoff Astle the first of the widely publicised cases? I still remember that goal in 1968, I forgive him for it though. He was a good centre forward back in the day.Sad news about Mike, seems to be so many of the old players getting Dementia,
Yes, his daughter has fought tirelessly for 20 years to get the FA to study and look into Dementia in football. Fortunately they now moving forward with it.Too true, wasn't Geoff Astle the first of the widely publicised cases? I still remember that goal in 1968, I forgive him for it though.
