…..terrific, classy defender with a Rolls Royce engine. The ‘psycho’ tag took away just how good this fella was;

Just imagine if we have some players with real pace! Even one player would be an improvement, but it would transform our team is we had a pair fullbacks and wingers who could really shift.
Some want the safest of safe options, pure grafters with no frills. Solid, dependable, boring as sin.….Fulham have him and Kenny Tete, both picked up for bargain basement sums. They’re a terrific pairing.
Just shows you don’t have to put up with mediocrity on a limited budget.

Robinson left long before Dyche was on the scene.….i think it’s more a case that they’re oblivious to the talent that’s out there.
Sold to Wigan in 2019. Silva here 2018-19. Scott Parker boss at Fulham at the time of Robinson's signing.Robinson left long before Dyche was on the scene.
Indeed. And Everton's greatest PL full back plus Lucas Digne in front of him at the time, and at the time he was a young player with plenty of speed, decent attacking, but suspect defensively. Right decision for him to leave at the time. You can't look back now and say we should have kept him just cos he's doing "well" at the moment. We can't keep all our young prospects, even the good ones or the ones that look like they will be good, sometimes you have to let them go (look at City with Palmer - although that pretty quickly got made to look like a bad decision).Sold to Wigan in 2019. Yep. The scouting at our fine club has really gone to turd.….i think it’s more a case that they’re oblivious to the talent that’s out there.
Oh I'm not crying forget-me-nots now. I reckon it's Milan and Wigan feeling the sting, we had our chance, then decided to cut our own eyes out and cut off our ears by installing benitez and simultaneously gutting the last shred of quality in the side to satisfy his agenda of buying into the belief structure he required to be boss.Indeed. There's been so much turmoil and negativity even in the short time since he left that I don't recall exactly, but I feel like he was probably let go too soon? Poor second season, but was it any worse than anyone who's been here since?Glad for AR that his hard work is paying off, and for that matter that it's for Silva who I actually quite liked.
