Dyche possibly, we need now a certain type of manager a disciplinarian who these cowards realise they can’t mess around. I am not convinced Silva is what is needed now. The last weeks performances show exactly we’re we are, a foreign unproved premier league manager is suicide.
I'm coming to the conclusion Dyche might not be a bad idea. I have hopes he could become more expansive with better players. Burnley can put together some fine moves.

One small sliver i hang onto, is this is Walsh and Allardyce using media contacts to try drum up support for BFS and force Moshiris hand into caving in mate, thankfully enough of the supporters still seem to be dead set against, although worryingly a hell of a lot have turned their opinion around now which is a scary prospect
I dont think Moshiri will dare test the patience of Everton supporters with this.

I just cant see it.

If Silva doesn't shift himself then they could easily get Dyche. There is no reason whatsoever to go for Allardyce. They'll know how unpopular that choice will be and it's my estimation they'll avoid that choice.

I wouldn't rule out a name coming in now completely under the radar.

The good thing about this is if we got Dyche it would be a long term appointment to be able lure him away from his steady job and Burnley screwed us over for Keane so it wouldn't be cheap. He would also play crap football and not be able to pull in the players we all want. Allardyce is a stop gap, nothing more. I'd rather get over this phase as quickly as possible whoever comes in.

The Portuguese coach, Paulo Fonseca, is close to joining English football

Paulo Fonseca is very close to becoming Everton coach. According to the GAME, the negotiations between the toffees and the Portuguese coach are very advanced, so the signing of the agreement may be soon, although in the British press the names of Sam Allardyce and Martin O'Neill appear aimed at the formation the city of Liverpool.

Your thoughts on Fonseca mate please?

Personally I know jack about him expect he's doing pretty well with Shakhtar which means we will end up with loads of random but boss Brazilians.

As you can imagine i'm all for him.

No ideas about him mate. Obviously heard of the name and know Shakhtar have been ok. That's it.

Fonseca would appear a more natural alternative to Silva than Allardyce... but I still can't get my head around how this search is being conducted.

Do we want a glamorous foreign coach for the 'project' or a British premiership ready manager to fire-fight and avoid relegation. I suppose the only candidate that ticks both boxes is Silva.
