From the ridiculous... It's not AVB, who despite previous references on this forum about a decent points tally at Tottenham one season, years ago, the laptop-managing, rally-driving chancer would be eaten for breakfast faced with the level of competition in the current Premier League.

To the green shoots of potential... It's not Arteta, though he is under the tutelage of Guardiola, and there is an outside possibility he might be able to apply those skills equally well, he is lacking in front-line premier league managerial, or in fact any, experience.

To fantasy-land... It's not Conte, he will go to Italy or Spain, and it's not Simeone, he will only leave for a club like say, Chelsea, when Conte leaves, or something along those lines. And it's not any of those German names that get thrown about occasionally.

To realism... It could have been Dyche but there is a groundswell of Everton opinion that he is not "technically imaginative" enough, so it is Howe. As I've said, defensively he would have to improve, but with better resources than he has had, that could probably be done. I think the club could afford to try it out, rather than have another season of Allardyce.

It won’t be Howe, the poor luv gets nosebleeds and anxiety attacks if he ventures north of Watford, the southern puff.

I like the Everton badge photoshop.

If Moshiri is serious about this club he will throw all the money and perks that Conte wants at his disposal. Give him the control he wants that Chelsea won't give him.... Since that won't happen we will probably get Silva and have to find another manager halfway through next season

If that was going to happen it would have already happened. Moshiri isn't just going to suddenly do that. And we also can't work on the basis of Usmanov shifting all his funding to Everton either - that was why I called it "fantasy-land". It's not just about money, it's about cachet. Maybe in the future, if Everton can build, names associated with bigger players, bigger clubs (in the current climate) will come in the future. This is about what manager could be next, not what manager could be next when Everton have established themselves as a top 6 club, which is when those type of names will come.
