Next Everton Manager

I know it won't happen but for twelve months I would like to see Silva, it probably will be him, work in conjunction with Brands and a senior manager like Van Gaal who could operate as a general manager for a season or two.

A modern day boot room , giving the manager some support and guidance and possible easing the pressure a little if the start isn't as good as expected and there will be huge pressure on Silva if we have a slow start.

Van Gaal is still a big name in football, has worked with Brands before and already knows the premiership.

Whoever it is I think we need a "Sammy Lee" to drive the players from the sidelines. I never saw Dunc get off his arse except when we scored.

The thing I don't understand is, Everton are back in the spotlight after the last couple of days, with the sackings and changes.

Whilst in the media spotlight, go and make a BOLD AND MASSIVE statement, by going after the best? Make everyone take notice, so what if we get turned down? Players and others from afar will start realising that we mean business by aiming high?!

Same last summer, couldn't go for more then 10 minutes without a mention on the radio or Sky Sports news, we seem to be big news during the close season, but utterly irrelevant once then actual football starts

It’s funny got in the car after work to drive home and all they talked about on talksport, was Benitez to Everton. I’m guess they’re just trying to get callers to ring in as opposed to any genuine interest from us.

maybe i went a little to far with the sarcasm, would be 100% behind silva. just think hes the easy option atm and its a done deal for moshiri.
hoping brands knows better and goes out and puts it on the line for the best we can get. maybe brands is a fan of silva...
