I’m not sure in him at all. Had all the money in the world at City and ended up doing poorly. He did win the league of course but he’s just not for me.

He was actually top of the league until the Pep announcement, the players stopped playing for him after that but he still recorded City's highest ever UCL finish reaching the semis narrowly losing to Real Madrid 1-0 on Aggregate

Pellegrini is available, freaking West Ham are going to sign him up while we waste time with Silva.

If you want an attscking manager look no further than Pellegrini it would be mental not to go for him. We are a bigger club than West Ham

This, wtf we aren't going for him is beyond me.

But, I can see the appeal of going for a younger, hungry manager than a Pensioner like.

There's a pensioner like Sam who plays
Dinosaur football. And there's a pensioner like Pellegrini whose city side during the title winning season scored 151 goals in all competitions – an English football record

I know who I would rather have

Obviously, not like we are strapped for cash though spending good money on players like Keane.

Pep spent more than him and only finished 3rd last season don't forget.

Point is he's better than Silva period
He’s 25 years old... you can’t compare them right now but I believe Silva better suited to us the Pelligrini

I think the reason being is that we have to have a coach who will listen to the DOF, the DOF is the more important signing, he will sign the players and implement a style of football that they will play, where not picking a manager in the old sense of someone who buys players implements his own style and has full control of everything

People are forgetting we are using a DOF model now (second time of trying like) so we have already put in place the main man and by the sounds of it he's a top rated one

If Pellegrini can work with Papa Perez at Real Madrid he can work with any director of football we can conjure up here

Emery is the one we should be after not old man Pelli or relegation silva.

Hahaha Emery couldn't even win a single away game with Sevilla in his final season.

Forget about him Pellegrini is a better manager.

Consistent at Villarreal and did wonders at Malaga Pellegrini took up the manager's role at Málagain November 2010. He led Málaga to a fourth-place finish in his first full season and to qualification for the UEFA Champions League. He made it to the quarter-finals of the 2012–13 Champions League, becoming the only coach to take two different teams to the Champions League quarter-finals in their debut seasons in the competition

But apparently he can't cut it at a smaller club like Everton

Why
Please explain what you know better ?

My reasoning is based only on his demonstrated performance to date.
Not exactly successful or loyal since his time in the premiership considering.
He’s been out of work for 6 months and none of the crisis clubs or foreign clubs have come in for him and I think they may know better than us all.
Another ‘flavour of the month’ like Martinez and Koeman that will be a short term mediocre appointment.
IMO

Would be a good appointment him. However, it would be short-term given his age and history of job hopping.

I feel with Silva we have an opportunity to build a long-term strategy with him at the helm.
