There isn't a mystery, we keep hearing the same name over and over and over. It is going to be Silva and we will finish 9th, maybe.

Nah mate I keep reading that manager will be selected by Brands and DBB. He's barely been in the job a minute so he's probably not finished interviewing his massive bank of candidates. I'm being a sarccy [Poor language removed] btw.

Hahaha, it would be nice if they pick someone other than that fraud. I would be utterly shocked if they announced someone like Sarri or Simeone, but we all know who it will be.

Fraud was a bit much. I just feel like he is another version of Martinez and that didn't work for us at all. Martinez had one good season with us and that is because our players still knew how to defend from Moyes. Our players didn't learn much from FS so I feel like our team would struggle with how Silva's style of play is.

Could be the same issue for any new manager. Martinez refused to acknowledge defence as important. Had he done that we would have been a much better team. I don't think, or at least i hope he isnt that stubborn.

It looks like Silva is our next manager so you'll just have to get behind him and hope he proves you wrong.

This is commonly stated, but how true is it actually?
It's not chance that the Martinez's second season was when Distin's legs went. Without a pacy centre-back to cover them, Stones and Jagielka both struggled. Jagielka has been struggling ever since.
