The problem I see with ancelloti is, has he ever managed a relegation threatened team, as far as I know and correct me if I'm wrong he's always took over at clubs who where challenging for titles and trophies. At the moment I'm not sure he's what we need. Yes once we're out of this mess and stable again I would certainly be looking at someone like him but for now, not sure.

So he's good enough for one of the biggest clubs on Earth but not good enough for us according to some...
Bit different tho, he's the German national team manager in a World Cup year. 98% of the players eligible (and good enough) for the national team are all in Germany. AFTER this summer? Yeah, maybe he'd be willing to move on. But I don't think he'd effectively sabotage the German efforts at the World Cup for Everton. Even if Bayern call, it's still not like he'd be moving all that far.
