All points to Sean Dyche doesn’t it, particularly if they want a quick appointment.
Doesn’t sit right based on nothing in particular, but God we are absolutely desperate now.

Absolute state of us, I’d take 17th if offered now.

You're right mate, it's no longer about what we want but what we need. The club absolutely can't drop out of the league. That has to be the number one priority above all else. If we can't get Dyche we go Allardyce, I may even be inclined to put him at the top of the list now. There, I [Poor language removed] said it. I don't care. This team needs some tactical discipline drummed into it and it needs to go back to basics until January. Get there with ok points on the board, then try and get one or two who can put the ball in the net, plus another decent centre-half and we'll be ok. Wr can review everything again in the summer.

I know none of us like it nor what to hear it (me too) but we can't be picky. We're in a right mess. Clubs as big as ours have gone down for less.

We need some sort of a specialist in urgently. We just dont have any time to wait. Who that is i have no idea but as we stand we need to win 1 in every 2.5 games till the end of the season just to get to 41 points which is usually safe. That is why i say specialist i.e someone who's sole purpose is to prevent us from being relegated. That is how serious this situation has become. 1 win in every 2.5 games is a tall order and very worrying indeed. We dont look capable of winning any game no matter who we are playing.

Yes. This 100%.

He is literally our only hope before January.

I'd actually be tempted to play him and sandro up front together, least we'd be able to actually have pace on the counter

My inner optimist is hoping that this car crash we're seeing forces action in terms of getting the best manager available and bending over to their demands 're the squad.

It is now Crystal clear we need at a bare minimum 4 quality players, a striker with either genuine pace or great hold up ability and who knows where the back of the net is, a top class winger with pace, mirallas and Lennon being the only options is laughable for our stated ambitions, a centre back in his prime who can compliment Keane and one who is at least decent on the ball and again with pace, and a starting left back, love Baines to bits, sons middle names for him, but he's done at this level and reminds me of the way the city fullbacks and ivanovic hit the wall when they got 31-32 - you need pace or an amazing engine at this level now.

I agree mate. If Tuchel is at all within reach Moshiri needs to secure that signature at all costs and then open the chequebook in January. The club might get fleeced for a couple of players because everyone knows how desperate we are, but it has to be done. The consequences if we dont are dire.

Here's the funny thing though mate, your advocating a manager who took a team down in dyce, or maybe allardyce, both of whom would actually take a couple of months before there methods kicked in to produce an upturn, allardyce for one is known for that, so by the time we started grinding out results with absolutely sure football the window would be open anyways

In which case why set the club back 3-4 years by panicking and hiring a manager who in no way meets the clubs aims long term?

As for clubs as big as us going down - assuming you means Leeds and villa as they are the only two on recent years and neither one happened instantly, both happened after serious financial problems meaning they died a slow death, we are being backed, you reckon moshiri is seriously not gonna throw a shedload at the team in January?

Add in we have Barkley,Coleman, bolasie and mori all due back after or before January, we aren't going down regardless mate.

Get tuchel. Our last three managers salaries dwarf what he was on at Dortmund, we need a striker. Guess what, there's one at Dortmund they tried to flog to numerous clubs and who actually listened to offers from China so obviously money matters to him, on top of that he had a great working relationship with tuchel as well.

Simply put. If we have true ambitions both are doable deals.

We won't do neither is my guess like. That's the saddest part and instead will hire some short term fix and some 'proven' premier league players.

Felt sorry for unsworth today like, been left with his chance to impress to get his dream job, with a squad totally unfit for purpose by koeman and to a unknown degree Walsh...

No ammount of motivation makes Williams, Baines and jags 27 again, and doesn't make dcl, niasse good players

Davek, we're already excellent at getting fleesed for players. I wouldn't worry about that.
