I'd actually be tempted to play him and sandro up front together, least we'd be able to actually have pace on the counter

My inner optimist is hoping that this car crash we're seeing forces action in terms of getting the best manager available and bending over to their demands 're the squad.

It is now Crystal clear we need at a bare minimum 4 quality players, a striker with either genuine pace or great hold up ability and who knows where the back of the net is, a top class winger with pace, mirallas and Lennon being the only options is laughable for our stated ambitions, a centre back in his prime who can compliment Keane and one who is at least decent on the ball and again with pace, and a starting left back, love Baines to bits, sons middle names for him, but he's done at this level and reminds me of the way the city fullbacks and ivanovic hit the wall when they got 31-32 - you need pace or an amazing engine at this level now.
Wow it seems even more depressing now, once you break it down like this. Not a chance we're getting a top manager, it's not how Everton work sadly.

Just got back.

That really disappointed me from Rhino today.

Talked about playing players in there positions, using pace and width.

Well that lasted all of forty five minutes. Dreadful.

Has he learnt nothing ?!

Embarrassing and quite clearly should cost him any chance of the job.

Mate why do you insist on posting stuff like this when basically your just trying to be a mix of sarcasm or Chico light without any ability to do it well?

Like seriously you are not very good at it, just focus on the gym and power shakes.
Look at my Tony Cottee and Dear Bill threads and then say that again.

When I’m on it, I’m on it son.

Embrace the horror.......Welcome to Everton Sam

We need to appoint a permanent manager and quickly.

This uncertainty is not gonna do us any favours imo.
Absolutely. Basically, we cant trust it for Unsworth. New manager in after Watford game when theres international break. Thats the "last line of defence for us" otherwise we might get into uncotrollable spin and panic mode.

Unsworth still has 2 games so nobody should rush in judging him or the team he plays
We played much better than with Koeman who is responsible for the mediocrity[to put it politely] he bought and leaving Barry go.
One must not panic, we can easily finish 7th and get a good run in the FA cup and save the season

I agree mate. If Tuchel is at all within reach Moshiri needs to secure that signature at all costs and then open the chequebook in January. The club might get fleeced for a couple of players because everyone knows how desperate we are, but it has to be done. The consequences if we dont are dire.
There is no doubt TT is a fine manager but for us the right manager at the wrong time.

However our situation is now so bad , this group of players so unbalanced and bereft of confidence that we cannot afford to take a chance with a manager who has no experience in this country.

Very sadly I am driven to the conclusion that we need a manager who knows the league and up until January when we can bring in desperately needed replacements can shore up the defence and make us hard to beat.

Unfortunately that points to Dyche , Allardyce and even , possibly , Moyes.

I think we underestimate the perilous position that we are in at our cost.
Has to be tuchel mate, he's the only option proven recently at both a team where we aim to be and our present situation

Amazed that neither Koeman nor apparently Unsworth can see that the main issue is the defence. They should have been blocking up every hole at the back and going for sneaky 1-0s from September 1st, given the clear deficiencies of the whole back line. One of the things Moyes always did without fail was eventually sort out the defence during a rot. Usually within 3 games.
