It was luck that Unsworth got one win, nothing more.

Watford lost their goalkeeper, CB, had no Troy Deeney and missed a pen.

His team selection was atrocious and the subs were forced by the crowd.

The man is nowhere near a top level manager. He would take us down, I’m confident of it.
He has two wins.

Last sentence aside I agree with every word of that post .

This isn’t Everton set to finish Everton in seventh with a couple of games left this is us at best in a fight this year. We can’t settle for a manager that gives a good press conference but otherwise seems absolutely out of his depth . If unsworth gets his selection wrong again for the next couple of games are people ok with that again ?

If the fella wants to learn his trade then he can maybe go somewhere else and do it . I’m not anti-unsworth I like the man and have always had time for him but this is a serious business and giving him this chance can’t be seen as anything other than a risk . If it works out then great I’ll be delighted , as we all will be , but I just can’t see a single thing he’s brought to the table that has earned him the honour and earned us taking that risk other than he’s not allardyce.

Not sure how he might do but this is a bit harsh.
It could be considered bad luck that he's missing a few first team players. It could be considered bad luck that he inherited such a mess.
Maybe the crowd forced the changes or maybe it was the fact that he was two down.
To me, it looks like he rested players v OL as he knew he needed a win here, and he got a win. That was a decent calculation as the EL was beyond us anyway.
I haven't loved his selections but he's getting to know the squad and players, hard to judge after 4 games.
I think we showed more second half fight in the Chelsea/Leicester/Watford games that we did in most of Koemans games this season.
Any new manager is going to need a few games to bed in, Unsworth has already had them. I'd give him till Jan.
