Unsworth odds have shortened today, last I looked he was favourite with Sam drifting (on a very big Lilo).

I'm worried that he lacks the experience to make sure we avoid the drop, but I can see the sense in giving him a few more games to see if things improve and if so keep him until the summer, then go all out for Moshiri's number one target.
Avoid the drop?
This is so unnecessary mate. Everton will not get relegated. lol.

11 games in, yes we have been TERRIBLE but look at all the other teams. The leagues rubbish mate. We'll stay up COMFORTABLY simply bcs the leagues rubbish. Doesnt' matter who we get in tbh

To be fair, if he does appoint Unsy for 6 months with a view to making a big appointment at the end of the season, that takes a looooooot of nuts from Moshiri
Agree totally.
If this is the plan, it needs putting out in the open quickly,so we have some clarity and can focus on the job in hand.

Unsie > Allardyce.

I think that's the message the board are hoping will be picked up on.

I think there is a split you know , I honestly do . I think a lot of people are really vocal about hating allardyce and I think on social media in particular. I also think a few people have openly said they’d vote with their feet if he was appointed. However I also know quite a few lads who are deeply concerned about our position and the risks of an unsworth appointment.

I’m not saying people want allardyce appointed but I do think they’re worried about unsworth .

Sorry mate that's not the message that is being picked up here. It's got nothing to do with Unsworth or Allardyce, both of which are less than ideal options.

It's more - 'Mosh is a carpet bagger who will not do what it takes to get a proper manager in' - going Venky max in front of our faces.

He clearly doesn't understand football.

Is he one of Walsh's stats guys that think football works like that.

He also changed the wording to say goals. I said Lukaku. I never mentioned anything about goals.

He joined yesterday to comment in the Simeone thread and has mentioned the terrible seats when he's been to Goodison which I suspect he experienced whilst situated in a certain area of the Bullens Road stand.

Interesting, it could be two fingers from the board to the fans - you're against anyone that is proposed, fine take one of your own and see what happens then.

To be fair I have absolutely no idea who would be a good choice at the present time.

Out of all managers mentioned, bar Diego, there are glaring weaknesses or negatives for each of them.

What's the glaring weakness with Silva?

For me he's the best of the bunch that's been mentioned.

A dreadful appointment because due to his inexperience, the knives will be out for Unsworth sooner I feel than even Allardyce if we lose a few on the bounce.

Shocking reasoning from the board to string everyone along like this.

Give it 3 games and we will be back in full on crisis mode and the board forced to act - again.
