Its the end of Ambition mate, thats not panic knee jerk or anything... its what it says to the fanbase in general and the football world. EFC is happy to accept mediocrity again.

Nice ones lads....
If it was just mediocrity it would be bad enough. This has shameful corruption attached to it. That's the type of manager we'd be getting.

Kenwright has sold the club to a man who couldn't give a flying one...and why should he? He works for a monster anyway.

This is what am not understanding... its not time for this amount of panic.

Its [Poor language removed] at the moment, absolutely terrible, but we aren't in the moment we need to panic and bring Sam Allardyce in.
But what if the manager he wants won't come in till the summer? We can't leave Unsworth where he is. I'd take Allardyce over O'Neill or Pulis.

Steve Walsh is Allardyce's big mate.

Imagine those two in charge of one or two windows worth of transfer funds.

It will be even worse than the last three, if that is at all possible. Loads of slightly odd deals for players you've never really heard of who suddenly have five year deals.

Amazing stuff.

Allardyce signed players like Nolan and carrol , at every club he went to, he got them massively improved deals and took 10% of said deal off them for getting them the transfer. Paid in cash at the end of each month.

make of that what you will

Think Dave you are getting carried away a wee bit, watching too many horror films of late or was it videos of Everton games?

But what can you do when no one else wants it? Makes sense to me as no compo to be paid and we can pay him off in the summer with some of the Silva money. It's just not working with Unsy at the moment.

Osman could manage us at this point and I wouldn't care if it meant staying up. Clubs do not bounce back up nowadays....and even if you do it's likely to be a yoyo couple of seasons. Survival is paramount for this club ....too much money / future stadium plans etc... are tied to it.
Next few fixtures are vital to stabilize the team and inch away from the drop zone There's more than a few people that would love to see us go down and if we are in the bottom 5 in Mar ..... we won't get much help from others. Desperate times are now IMO
