Why are people so against Moyes, surely he has learned lessons from his Everton and Utd experiences ?
with money behind him he'll know he has to play a more expansive game as well as keeping a tight defence, i haven't voted for him but i wouldn't be disappointed if he got the job.
He done a good job on about 1 million a year net spends, why can't he do a great job on massive net spends ?
short memories.

@Francis_Blue your posting seems very negative you don't want Mourinho, Koeman, or Emery because they're too unrealistic. You want Moyes as our manager, Osman to be given one more year, and Hibbert to become a coach. I doubt you want us to move to a waterfront location, just somewhere quiet and out of the way.

say what?

yes, I joined here yesterday, but I am Evertonian since 1995, I am oversea fans of Everton, I don't think it is a problem to discuss here, Everton is a worldwide famous club and has many oversea Evertonian.

I think our new manager is willing to use youth players and/or pay an effort in the youth player development, has good track record on transfer market since quite a lot of players may leave our team next season, and has past experience in team management at the top football leagues. If a manager match these points, I think he should fit to our team. Sure it is a bonus if the manager is a trophy manager, but it is optional.
Where are you from mate?

We've got a great crop of youngsters, think we need someone who can blend them in and add some quality players as well. Reading that would put me off Pellegrini. It will be interesting to see what Guardiola does there.

Genuine question here; anyone who follows Guardiola and his career - what is he like with the youth players? Working at clubs like Barca and Bayern and spending £50-100m each window could make it hard to integrate the kids into the team, but does he like giving them a chance? I know he has done with Koman this season.

He won nothing because he had nothing, if you are going on him belittling us then that's a fair comment

Yep, said we were holding back Baines and Fellaini by not selling them to him. Seems a bit tacky that for a man who held Everton close to his heart and was fantastically paid and had zero pressure put on him to perform.

Has bombed since in 2 jobs too, so not really sure why you would want him, unless your only aim for Everton was safety first and familiarity.

As i've said i haven't voted for him but i think we could be missing out on a good manager who will surely have learned from his previous experiences, defensively he's up to the job, attacking wise maybe with money he can be up to it.

Each to their own like bro! There are a lot of managers out there though, don't think we even need to entertain somebody of this calibre any longer.

I agree with you. Although Moyes may not the most suitable candidate of our new manager, he did a great work in Everton, he had no money to spend unless he sell the "star player" in our team, he still built a strong team under this situation. I have no blame to him until now.

He seem not respect us enough when he went to Man Utd, I feel disappointed actually, but I don't think Moyes is really very poor performance in Man Utd, he sign Fellaini only, but reached the same level as van Gaal who spend more than 200m, and Moyes took Man Utd into final 8 in the Champion League too which cannot achieved by Wenger recent years.

Why would you want Moyes when there are better managers out there. We're in a better position now, why (in my opinion) should we go backwards.

Why would you give him money when there may only be a chance he may be up to it. He had money at Utd and didn't do anything. In his time at Everton even clubs like Swansea and Wigan won a trophy. Moyes was the right man at the right time, but not anymore.

Mediocrity is no longer accepted.
