Meanwhile Times journalist Rory Smith says that Sevilla manager Unai Emery would be amenable to an approach from Everton.

Not sure how reliable Mr Smith is but I like that idea a lot.
I think Rory Smith was the one that broke the story about the club getting taken over, but he was saying it would be Moores and Noell

What do you think mate? Moyes, Pulis, what about Rodgers, nearly fluked the PL with the rs. I see you joined yesterday, why not introduce yourself.

yes, I joined here yesterday, but I am Evertonian since 1995, I am oversea fans of Everton, I don't think it is a problem to discuss here, Everton is a worldwide famous club and has many oversea Evertonian.

I think our new manager is willing to use youth players and/or pay an effort in the youth player development, has good track record on transfer market since quite a lot of players may leave our team next season, and has past experience in team management at the top football leagues. If a manager match these points, I think he should fit to our team. Sure it is a bonus if the manager is a trophy manager, but it is optional.

welcome mate :)

Love how everyone wants Emery because of a decent half of football, automatically asuming he has a plan B, Martinez wasnt so quickly praised for his plan B in the second half of semis against united.[/QUOTE

There's a thought that the players changed things around themselves and ignored RM. Don't know if there's anything in it, but there could be.

I don't remember Martinez ever changing tactics.

Why are people so against Moyes, surely he has learned lessons from his Everton and Utd experiences ?
with money behind him he'll know he has to play a more expansive game as well as keeping a tight defence, i haven't voted for him but i wouldn't be disappointed if he got the job.
He done a good job on about 1 million a year net spends, why can't he do a great job on massive net spends ?

Because he won nothing in 11 years and publicly belittled us when he left I think is the general consensus.
