If the Mourinho to Utd was just a formality we would have moved on by now. Maybe a new manager not fully appointed but we would almost certainly have had the yellow band with SKY SOURCES UNDERSTANDS..... headline.

Instead, we are getting the obvious targets still being trotted out and as far as the media are concerned it is a one horse race... FDB.

Emery has not been considered by them, Koeman wants Arsenal.
Favre has been mentioned but really as far as they are concerned it's FDB....and maybe they are right.
There has been absolutely no in depth analysis of what Everton need in a manager at this time.

The club has become very good recently at not leaking information. If it were not for ESK we really would have no idea whatsoever what was going on and I doubt that Mourinho would not even be spoken about.

Lads, its quite simple, theres currently only 1 manager who wants the job.

Frank De Boer wins by default.

Welcome to Everton Frank.

You don't know that though, do you?

Yes.

I've noticed a trend that all the ones I mentioned are good players that played in the Premier league! Ha! So De Boer should be good then!

I think more and more players will get into Management and be a success.

Theres a new wave of 40 somethings who were cracking players and will become good managers, Pep, Simeone, Cocu, De Boer, David Moyes, OH.

Also the fact he's coming across so desperate is really worrying, what he's done is akin to what Mark Hughes did when he quit Fulham to make him a more 'viable' option for Chelsea.

That didn't go well for him, so I'd suggest Frank tells Ronald to stop flogging him all over Talksport and acts with some composure.

I'd add to this if he doesn't have the job by the middle of next week, he's nothing more than a last resort. His last duty with Ajax was 48hrs ago, he is now very avaliable, so should we want him we will get him now, if not see start of the paragraph.

My biggest worry is, if he were good enough he wouldn't of been managing in Holland for 6 years, he'd of been snapped up.

He was a pube away from getting the Spurs job, its rumoured he turned down the vermin about 4 years ago.

Embrace him, its happening.

What happened to the last manager to turn the RS down? And Spurs have had that many managers it's embarrassing to not get it.
