Why does it matter what he looks like, if he wins football games I couldn't care less, but he did win it, it's irrelevant what could of happend, it didn't, if we had won 38 games this season we would have won the league, we didn't
When you consider what he did for Malaga and Villareal, maybe he's better motivated at clubs that aren't aready established in the Champions League? He'd see us more of a challenge and he'd have something to prove.

And he might sign Aguero an Silva! ;)

I can't imagine now it will be anybody that hasn't already been mentioned.

Meaning it will be one of FDB, Koeman, Pelligrini or Favre.

He may not have full control on spending but he/City have spunked a lot of money on poor players. I don't want our money wasted on dross when we have young, hungry academy players begging to play.

I think we could easily draw comparisons between our current Everton side, and the Leeds United side of 2001. A lot of good youth players, but ultimately failed to hit their top 4 ambition.

I'd rather we invest in achieving top 4 status before really focusing our efforts on developing the youth - although there are one or two there that do look rather good.

I think it will be FDB, were being linked with overmars, milik. I'd be happy to give him the chance our expectations next season should be top 6 then to push again the season after, in my opinion,

Oh not adverse to FDB either by the way, especially as I backed him!

Collymore did say weeks ago he had heard it was going to be De Boer after we lost against West Ham. Not sure why if it is though they cannot announce it and let him get in with the job.
I missed that. Stan Collymore talks a lot of sense and, given his status in the game, is probably more ITK that most of us here.

I think whomever comes in shouldn't be given any target higher than Top 10. We've finished outside that two years in a row and the squad will potentially be decimated this summer. People expecting pushes for Top 4/6 are in dreamland.

I wanted Jose (pipe dream I know). Koeman next in line for me, but he's not available and I think he'll stay at Southampton. They're in a better position than us right now. We are a massive challenge for any manager and we need someone who is up to that.
That's exactly why I think Koeman will be hugely interested in managing us. We are a massive challenge no doubt, but we're also fantastic challenge. I appreciate that Soton has finished above us for the last 2 seasons, but in the end we're the bigger club with an awful lot more potential than Southampton. Reason enough for me to believe Koeman would jump at the chance of managing us.

It's on. Mind you, Arsenal are being linked with the player too. But it's fate the Milikman wll play Everton :coffee:

Of all the names liked from Fdb, Pellegrini, Favre, Koeman, Moyes etc etc no real names jumps out at me as a yes we must him get to be our next manager. All good managers but no one really stands out. Just hope moshi and co get the right man in. Onwards and upwards!!!

Why are people just referring to this Season for Pellegrini.

The fella has had the biggest cheque book in England to scrape the Premier League once and win Two League Cups, that is abysmal.

He's utter shabite and shouldn't be anywhere near Everton.

So Guardiola will definitely win the Premier League with City next season will he? I mean, he has the same squad and will be given an even bigger budget than Pellegrini, so it must be a certainty. In fact, it's such a foregone conclusion that Manchester City will win the league next year, that we should all go down the bookies and place bets worth thousands of pounds as it's such a foregone conclusion.

Football doesn't work like that. The Premier League certainly doesn't work like that. Describing a manager that has won the league and two cups in a three year period, as well as taking them to the Semi-Final's of the Champions League, as being 'abysmal' is ridiculous. And that's without even acknowledging his performances and success at REAL MADRID, Villarreal and Malaga.

Pellegrini is a very good manager, and I would be happy to have him at Everton.

Leicester have just won the league and you're saying we should have top 10 as the aim ! Jesus wept. Have some ambition.

I can't believe nobody's suggested Alex McLeish. Very experienced, knows the league and is currently available. Make it happen Moshiri!

Daft comment. He wasn't in charge of transfers at City and this season was ruined by the Guardiola rumours.
