Leicester have just won the league and you're saying we should have top 10 as the aim ! Jesus wept. Have some ambition.

Ah yeh sound compare us to a freak seasonal incident with a team full of players pulling together with a few stand out performers and a pragmatic manager.

Be realistic you chode Leicester isn't happening again for an age.

my concern with pellegrini is if he still has the energy and hunger, we cant possibly know this but I'm sure moshiri would be able to find out

Agree with shouts that Pellegrini criticism is unjustly harsh. I think his deadpan, downbeat, professorial image goes against him. If not his age. Not my first choice. Could do much worse though. His standout work was at Villarreal and Malaga, and I think the underdog role suits him. It wouldn't be a disaster by any means if he was chosen.

In his time at City over three seasons he's out performed almost every other big team. He's getting panned for this season but look where Chelsea Liverpool and United are. Two league cups and a title. He's a very good manager, criticism that he hasn't won everything is absolutely ridiculous.

I think we could easily draw comparisons between our current Everton side, and the Leeds United side of 2001. A lot of good youth players, but ultimately failed to hit their top 4 ambition.

I'd rather we invest in achieving top 4 status before really focusing our efforts on developing the youth - although there are one or two there that do look rather good.

True...and because it is it's quite terrifying also.
