At Malaga one player that pellegrini he prevented a mass exodus so he had experience with this which might happen to us this summer.

He alot tougher then his persona.

Could you show me proof of this?

Thanks

It's Txiki Begiristain, their director of football who targets and signs the players.

Manchester City have appointed former Barcelona technical director Txiki Begiristain as their director of football in a management restructure.

The 48-year-old will oversee player recruitment, previously the remit of football administrator Brian Marwood.

Former Arsenal winger Marwood has moved to a new role as managing director of the club's football academy.

Begiristain worked at Barcelona from 2008 to 2010 with new City chief executive Ferran Soriano.

City manager Roberto Mancini publically expressed his frustrations at City's transfer policy during the summer transfer window.

No mate.

The poll was shared on our Facebook - thats were comments like so are from;

The majority didnt want him - but you'd be surprised how many do. I was, anyway...

Fair enough mate and apologies for being a bit of a tit about it.

I am quite surprised by the 1 in 4 figure and also a little peeved by it. But no harm to some of the comments, but some of those people don't seem like the most on the ball regarding all things Everton.

Needless to say I'd be hugely against Moyes returning in any capacity but even my old man would be in the bracket I would describe, probably unfairly, as having no ambition. I suppose it's just all down to the fact we haven't competed in a generation and we need to restore people's faith and belief in the club.

That said appointing Moyes would only compound this problem. We need to move on and aim high.

Anyone read this?

Makes me think we should avoid FDB like the plague. Too inexperienced, too rigid, too much like Martinez. The fact that the Ajax fans apparently grew bored of his football speaks volume imho.
Just read that and had the exact same worries. We need someone that is able to change things if it isn't working and not stick to the same formation all the time. I like Koeman for this reason!

So the obvious has happened and that joke of a manager has joined the scum, I started dreaming then woke up and realise that this is Everton!!
No matter who we get I'll support you forever, your in my heart your in my soul.
Please Everton, do your fans the justice we deserve and prove that we are a big club.

How come the change of heart about Jose? What caused him to slip in your affections?

Koeman is far and away the better choice than FDB imo. Can't be bothered with another manager trying to 'perfect his style', we need a pragmatist to succeed in this league and Koeman is certainly that (just watch his appearance on Monday Night Football).

Southampton 3 points off CL this year. Closer than Martinez got us in his first year. Get him in and fund him and we'll be vying for those CL spots guaranteed.

It's interesting to see people are a bit underwhelmed at Koeman and de Boer et al, which goes to show how expectations have changed.

If you're looking for a magic wand appointment you won't find one, they've all been taken. Mourinho, Guardiola, Conte, even Klopp (honeymoon over) will all be expected to guarantee success this season, which is by definition, impossible because they can't all win it. So therefore, there is no easy fix.

Looks likely that Wenger will continue at Arsenal. But if Wenger did leave, the favorites for the job are as follows 1. Koeman, 2. de Boer, 3. Low, 4. Mancini. Looking down the list, it's hard to think of a standout, realistic candidate for them.

Just for some perspective.
