I'm surprised the Pellegrini shouts are going on.

I know he backtracked a bit but young @The Esk must have heard the move to Zenit is basically done.

Bit sad this just leaves us looking at the two Dutch lads though. Hopefully we are still aiming for better.

That's exactly why I think Koeman will be hugely interested in managing us. We are a massive challenge no doubt, but we're also fantastic challenge. I appreciate that Soton has finished above us for the last 2 seasons, but in the end we're the bigger club with an awful lot more potential than Southampton. Reason enough for me to believe Koeman would jump at the chance of managing us.
Lets hope so mate.

Keoman has managed 8 clubs since the year 2000. With some very mixed results.

Indeed.

A football nomad who has flopped at most clubs - Benfica and Valencia stand out, even worse than Gary Neville's record at Valencia.

Still, he's made Southampton punch above their weight, a bit... Maybe he is suited to this league.

Flavour of the month - like Laudrup was when Moyes left for how well he did with Swansea.

Who knows? For all we know, Mosh may pull a rabbit out of the hat with a big name that wasn't on the radar.

For me though, FdB would be my choice - though I wouldn't be disappointed with either Koeman or Pellegrini.

Provided it's not Moyes or another B-Lister like O'Neill then I'm sure whoever comes in will do the job for us.

Said it before, but for me it's all about how you learn from your faillures and mistakes in the past. Koeman would fit us like a glove. But of course that's only my opinion.

That poll list is looking very thin right now and my guess is koeman is not coming.

I think Moshiri has to get in the game (public communications wise) and make a statement about the future of this club to improve the quality of that list.

Good players don't necessarily make good managers though.
He won the league three times and a cup in Spain. Doesn't sounds too bad for me. Ranieri "failed" in his whole career, he was always second best and look at him now.

Koeman is proven in this league (and Europe) and perfectly knows how to win on the field. Couldn't ask for more if we can't get Mourinho.

Agree. Purely from a PR stance - and I understand the need for confidentiality - it's been downright poor.
