That's the only role i would accept for David Moyes at Everton is DOF. If he becomes manager again god help us all.

BBC reporter from the South Coast (Tony Husband) has just tweeted that Koemans agent will meet with Les Reed later this week to discuss a contract extension

Interesting person this Les Reed, he is Executive Director at Southampton and sits on their Board. While he was on the books of some clubs as a player he never made a single league appearance and his entire managerial career consisted of 6 weeks in charge of Charlton about 10 years ago. Proof that an effective DoF type position does not necessarily require a big name person to fill it but instead someone who really gets what it means.

It's happening

The longer it goes on the more chance Moyes has of becoming manager.

It's Saturday night back in the day, and this ginger Scottish lady has told you she wants you early in the night. You laugh to yourself and go chasing a Spanish lady who says no, your attention goes to a Dutch girl but she plays hard to get and says no in the end.

It's nearly 2am, badly drunk you turn back to the Scottish ginger lady.

I can see him returning, that's why we need to take a gamble on Alan Stubbs.

I can't see that at all mate. We are apparently interviewing 9. Favre will be on that list who is out of work, as is De Boer. I can't see either of them turning us down and both will be above Moyes on the list. It is amazing the possibilities that open up once you start looking for managers outside of the country borders of Lancashire.

Maybe, or his agent using us to get him a bigger payday on the South coast?

IF you know your unlikely to get the Everton job as someone else is first choice, then you'd use this speculation about their interest to get you the best deal you could at your current club is another option, once we appoint then pressure is off saints to give him assurances

Obviously Koeman needs to see these people when he announces his Swift resignation
