I'd prefer to not see him back here, but wasn't the thing about Moyes that he was always held back without having funds? The only reason I can think of is that he disrespected the club by trying to unsettle Baines and Fellaini back when he went to United but that doesn't call for the kind of blatant character assassination and revisionism that I've seen from a lot of blues, ie; Bretland etcetera. I'd be a little disappointed if we were forced into it by not achieving our main targets in Emery and Mourinho (supposedly) but has Koeman really done that much more than what Moyes did with us, albeit with nicer football at times? I'm not convinced.

Regardless, the Esk has continued to reassure us time and time again that Moyes isn't on the table and I for one trust him wholeheartedly. I'll happily throw my lot behind any manager we end up with.

Not looking good today.
I fear it could be MP (zombie) or FDB (Dropping his pants to everyone who will have him)
I hope Mush has an ace up his sleeve.

Personally i don't think Kenwright will have a say in the matter on our new manager but at the end of the day anything is possible while he is still there. If they thought the Protests was bad for getting Martinez out just think what they will be like if we got moyes back.

IF you know your unlikely to get the Everton job as someone else is first choice, then you'd use this speculation about their interest to get you the best deal you could at your current club is another option, once we appoint then pressure is off saints to give him assurances
Or if you were his agent and talking to us on the sly about the possibility of a contract at Goodison, you'd want to see what his current employer was prepared to put on the table before committing either way.

It could be nothing more than the bloke doing his job, but the fact that he's passed that information onto the local BBC reporter is a bit of a worry imo.
