What and line up a new manager based on the possibility that at some point in the future, timeframe unknown, there might be a vacancy?

Shocking that really considering some of the clubs that where in for him over the last 12 months...

Maybe he fancies a three year stint on the sunny south coast of France, around the corner from Monaco - far worse places to earn a living than Nice.

koeman is our main target.
emery is in the frame (possibly) if he indicates interest.
pellegrini and de boer are back up options.

The two other candidates are Koeman and Emery, both still under contract, and it's not fully established whether we have met or will meet Emery at all.
