Think Koeman will stay there and I'm not at all arsed.

As long as it's not Pellegrini we're ok I reckon.

Koeman is patently our No.1 choice and the pantomime is now in full swing.

His stock is now extremely high and any agent worth their salt would be advising him to capitalise on that simple fact.

Another season at Soton that delivers a diminishing return i.e. Lower than 6th and his ability to nail a 'next level' position is potentially gone.

Equally Soton won't want to see their manager run his contract down, with all the uncertainty that brings - both to existing players and potential signings.

Is he really going to extend for £500k when his stock is so high? I smell absolute BS, and positioning by both sides.

These situations are always fluid, but I think Koeman is far from out of the race to become our new manager, and I think he'd be an excellent choice

If Koeman is dragging his heels give it to De Boer at least the fella is keen and wants the job.

Anything to actually back this up with, because everything we have heard from Koeman, the press, his agent and their DOF suggest that he will be there and is happy to there next season.
