Voted originally for Jose because at the very, very least our profile in the media would take a massive hike if he came. He might be another train wreck waiting to happen, but I think he'd also make us winners again, not guaranteed trophies, but better than 4 home games a season.

Changed vote now as I think that whilst we need a winner, we also need a steadier, more stable character... so if it were up to me, I would like the opportunity to talk to Joachim Loew, the German national team manager.

The Harry Redknapp option is actually in line with what more than a few of you are after.

Someone who can deal very actively in the transfer market with success. A proven success in motivating good players and someone who use these skills for short term success. He plays with two up front and wide players and teams that play with aggressive purpose.

He fits what loads are looking for. Not my choice like but thought I'd raise the point.

Normally when a club parts company with a manager it is crisis time. Villa, Newcastle, Sunderland, Swansea all in a relegation dogfight at the time.
We would be an attractive proposition for any manager. Talented yet an under performing team and a new owner prepared to invest in the team and its infrastructure to enable it to progress.
Any manager worth his salt would be attracted by that (and a sizeable salary) to come here. We should aim big (whichever manager that maybe) if we ultimately want to challenge for the big prizes.

I like Pellegrini and i think he has been hung out by City since day 1 and especially this year. What manager could work in that enviroment of rumours and then been told your job is gone. It was clear that they wanted Pep all the time. His teams play good football and he is a proven winner. My worries about him would be his age.

Marcelo Bielsa for me. Need someone who can command the dressing room and get a reaction from underperforming players. A manager who praises when we are winning and isnt scared to change things when we arnt. Cant carry on with this happy happy everything's fine approach Martinez. Losing more home games this season than Moyes did in his last 3 is not excusable and is definately not phenomenal.

If at all possible we should go for simeone. A quality manager who wants to manage in the prem. He's kept athletico up there in a league traditionally dominated by barca and real. Would be able to attract top players and command respect of the players we have already. We need someone like this to keep our best players anyone of a lesser pedigree and you can wave bye bye to the core of our team and start again.
