Huge call, Esk... What a prospect! This emerging candidate would be almost universally popular.
Is that what he's saying? Whoever we appoint isn't the preferred candidate. We are moving on to someone who isn't and that could be someone out of contractSo a manager who is currently in a job and would be a popular appointment? I can't think of many managers that we've been linked to who actually fulfill this criteria. Emery is the obvious one.
Couldn't care less about his club record. The man is a name that would lift our stature through the roof and would attract boss players....and Erm. ...he's world champion and has dominated in the game for years.

If we end up with Koeman and two twenty million centre forwards, personally, I'll be delighted.Firstly I haven't got any experience of 'The Esk's' posts on here or how credible of a source he is but the fact he moderates the site and has a lot of followers fills me with confidence.
In contrast though, I'm apprehensive that he is simply good with words and quite hypnotic. The above quotes lead me to believe we are seeing big time transitions in the summer when in reality we could just be Everton with Koeman and two 20million centre forwards.
