No. But Esk says that is normal when things are nearing a conclusion. But he hasnt heard a dickie bird. Or hasnt posted that he has anyrate.

The fact that all sides are quiet is the most significant point. There's been plenty of time for one or another party to say it's not happening. The absence of such normally means there's a workable solution for all parties, it just needs to be negotiated out.

Had an open cheque book
Whoever takes over has more money to spend 'allegedly'.
I'd want more than Europa Leagues from any future manager.
Rebuild 1st year, minimum 6th
2nd year Champions League qualification
3rd year Pushing for Premiership ahead of our new move into the new stadium
Next....infinity and beyond!

I suspect there's more than a slight racist and self interested element to the media championing of Moyes Giggs Hughes etc. They may very well think that pushing British managers into positions for which they are totally unsuitable will do them favours with the footballing powers in this country in the short and medium term.

Think its more to do with the normal ignorance of anything outside their normal click bait favourites myself.

Yeah but not the kind City has spent while Pellegrini has been in charge

Man is near to retirement and all, he's not the man for a proper rebuild

No chance mate. I want Emery don't get me wrong, got my heart set on it. But Koeman has done two very impressive seasons on the bounce and improved in the secon season, very few managers have done back to back good seasons in the PL and ended up a Flump. Many managers have flukes one and then been found out to be awful, but I'd suggest 2 is rare?

Anyhow it matters not Emery is clearly the man and a huge statement.

Just joking with regards to Koeman, mate. I think he's a decent manager but don't think he's the kind who could possibly take us to the next level. Think we'd just be back to the 5-7th purgatory with him. Granted I'd take that after the last 2 years but as you say, Emery is the one.
