Article basically says that Monchi wants to come to Everton and he thought that the club would waive the buy out in his contract after all the great work he´s done but Sevilla are not prepared to do so at the moment. That final line says that they know he doesn´t want to join another Spanish club but rather that he wants to accept Everton´s offer.

Up until two days ago my lifelong ambition was to be bass guitarist in a rock band and be cool as *rhymes with duck* As I am female, too old, too fat and have zero musical aptitude, this was never going to be realised. Koeman is on limbo. Im 100% sure he's desperately wanting EFC job
