I'll risk the dry bumming! Koeman being backed. He was drifting and you could have got odds between 7/1 and 10/1, but literally in the last few minutes his odds have tumbled across the board..

Maybe with him returning from holiday today things have progressed on that front too? Skybet in particular had him at 8/1 ten minutes ago, now 5/2.

It's definitely looking like a two horse race, as the Esk alluded to a few days ago.

Interesting one that, someone has been having a little go there. About £100 across all the available lays

Who's turn is it to explain that latest betting odds are practically no indication whatsoever of who our next manager is going to be?

My guess - people have read Gregg O'Keefe's latest Echo article - which suggests Koeman is number 1 choice - and have put a bit of money on. The odds have come in as a result. Simple as that. Pretty much meaningless.
It's a bit of fun, calm down dear.

There does seem to be a bit of a surge for Koeman in the betting.

it will be the bookies playing on it. to get people believing koeman is back on and get people backing him. nothing to worry about
