Just waiting for Mole to drop an 'it's done' bomb.
There's nothing about Emery even leaving in the Spanish press. Do you really think anything like that is imminent? There's no way.

Alas, another day where we'll hear absolutely nothing. They sure are taking their time.
Just makes me wonder why the Esk was so confident in saying things like "the things that will happen this week will show you the club is nothing like it was under Kenwright" etc...
Because until it is done it is not done, so until you have a signature you have to look for alternatives. It also applies pressure on Emery which is no bad thing, and ultimately Koeman was initially Moshiri's first choice but as I've said many times left the door open for Emery to become the preferred candidate.
Our negotiating position is stronger with two candidates. The position is Emery's to take or leave but he knows that Koeman is once more a contender if for whatever reason he procrastinates.
I'm still of the opinion Emery will take it.

I think it probably also highlights that it is a different group of people running the process and making decisions.I put a lot of that down to the sleek and professional way we are running the search and how little information is being leaked. Often the press are picking up on things but seem to be almost identical information to what's put on here but a few days later.
I think the second difficulty is very few people have really understood the impact Moshiri has had. In many ways only having 49.9% of shares has made a lot of them think it's still Bill in charge. I do think that perception will have changed over the summer. Finally the Euro's is on and that is a major draw.
In all honesty none of it worries me. Going about our business quietly has been very effective.

Just cannot be Emery if all we have is 1 'ITK' here saying he's been interviewed, then the British press attempting to put 2+2 together but also naming a new 'favourite' each day, they have no idea and neither do we. Surely it'd be in the press somewhere, even from Sevilla if he wants to leave or has asked to leave, but nothing whatsoever from a genuine source. Frustrating AF lads, frustrating AF.
