If Koeman was always no 1 choice and signs it's an incredibly good sign that one way or another Moshiri has got his man. Would be gutted its not Emery but optimistic to see if our owner wants someone he'll get them

The timing is spot on, he been on holiday and wanted to think on his future, he back and now movement is seen in the media.

Because until it is done it is not done, so until you have a signature you have to look for alternatives. It also applies pressure on Emery which is no bad thing, and ultimately Koeman was initially Moshiri's first choice but as I've said many times left the door open for Emery to become the preferred candidate.

Our negotiating position is stronger with two candidates.The position is Emery's to take or leave but he knows that Koeman is once more a contender if for whatever reason he procrastinates.

I'm still of the opinion Emery will take it.

It's interesting though, Saints fans aren't too happy as you can imagine with losing their best players seemingly every summer, so if they lose their manager again, they'll be kicking up a right fuss to their owner.

If people take what the esk and the mole said as the truth no need to panic.
They said emery is now first choice. It's his if he wants it. Koeman is the back up. We ared to believe he has been in holidays so we are meeting him as well. He was originally first choice but seems to be have been passed by emery. Nothing has been signed with Emery so you need to have a back up in place .
That's how I see it.

Koeman agent having talks with us this afternoon (2pm). Seems that Everyon is now a 'project' he very much wants to be involved with.

I will update when I have any significant news but highly likely I'll have something later.

Traded out about a week ago on Koeman for minor profit. Now sitting on profit for either Emery or Koeman. Fairly piddly but would leave me up a bit. Wasted free bet on Mourinho ages ago lol

Wish I'd had the balls to sit it out on the Koeman bet but ah well, especially as it hit 1.7 today

I get £290 for Koeman and £120 for Emery had a bet on 22/1 lol
