Moyes very rarely had to sell best players to be honest. Happened four times in 11 years with Rooney, Gravesen, Arteta and Lescott and each time Moyes were given money to replace them (even though with Rooney we got absolutely mugged). Koeman was a wonderful footballer, and has done well at Saints but I think it's clear his goal is to get to Barca when Enrique is done, which means he isn't here for the long term.

Would prefer Emery at this stage, but let's be honest we'd be made up with Koeman if we had never been linked with Emery.
