getting close to a proper market forming around Koeman now

He still signed most of the players he wanted, shane long, charlie austin, virgil van djik to name but a few, moyes never had this luxury, he had to sell his best players, and sign mostly from the bargain basement

les reed signs their players and moyes did get to spend money too when we sold players for big money

Koeman was a wonderful footballer, and has done well at Saints but I think it's clear his goal is to get to Barca when Enrique is done, which means he isn't here for the long term.

Would prefer Emery at this stage, but let's be honest we'd be made up with Koeman if we had never been linked with Emery.

Yeh I´ve been thinking about that. What is the contractual status with Koeman? I understand he´s got a year left with Southampton, so how exactly would we be able to sign him?

They´d be entitled to some kind of compensatory fee at least and would of course hold our feet to the fire.

Not sure how it works mate obviously but if he really is on his way here with his agent Southampton will of had to have granted permission it's illegal otherwise I think.

I'm happy with both prefer Emery, but Koeman was my original shout. It's 2 fingers up to the media and Southampton fans if it is him and much much better than Moyes Pellegrini or FDB.

Thank god for Moshiri, without him Eddie Howe would be on 3rd press conference.

Without him Martinez would still be here
