True Detective season 4

Southampton can keep the pig on the right.

Southampton haven't got to keep quite about him supposedly talking to us, so like you, I would expect them to come out saying Koeman is in talks with us, saying they have tried everything to convince Koeman to stay, but it hasn't changed his mind.

I would also expect them to come out and squash it if it rumbles on much longer. They wont want their fans getting twitchy if it's not true.

We've found fault with every man nominated for the job - too old, failed at wherever, won stuff but in a weak league, only won cups, etc.

One of them is going to get the job, probably De Boer, Pellegrini or Koeman, I think, or maybe Emery, and I think they're all well qualified for
the job.

Just relax.

I'm not hearing anything new at present. If Emery has turned us down I doubt that would get out before we've talked to Koeman, as clearly it works to our advantage to have two interested parties battling for the same position.

It also does not suit Emery's people if he's talking to Milan for his Everton position to be known.

Off all the Mole's posts, the latest is by far and away the most definite and precise in its information. No generalisations here.
And he waited til Koeman was odds on to be our new manager, not to mention a story hours ago from a Dutch journo that his agent was coming to Liverpool, to make it. He's like the Oracle at Delphi, clearly!
