Not gonna lie, I'm pretty gutted we've missed out on Emery.

Yes, Koeman was Moshiri's no.1 choice, but what is that founded on?

Between him and Emery, Emery clearly wins. As soon as Emery became 'available' he should of become Moshiris no.1 choice. We should of gone all out to get him.

Still Koeman is a good manager and we could of been far, far worse off.

Just don't like having that 'what if' situation.
He does have decent PL experience.

All those saying Koeman has won nothing, Emery had had won three consecutive cups.

The S*** were not complaining taking Klipperty Klopp after he LOST three finals were they????? He's not doing all that bad, unfortunately!

Inb4 Emery does a Vitor and goes to manage some Saudi team!

Mourinho>Emery>Koeman>>>Pellegrini>>>>>De Boer>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Moyes.

Really don't understand the obsession with Moyes being the devil and a terrible manager.

Did well with us for a decade.

We are appointing someone on huge money on the basis of doing what Moyes did with us, consistent top third finishes in the league with a small wage bill and negative net spend.

Had two separate confirmations that Koeman deal is "done" - he was clearly Moshiri's #1 target at the beginning of the process even though it looked like he'd lost that position when Emery became a possibility and received an offer.

Assuming the DoF is sorted quickly we are in a fantastic position to enjoy the summer, re-vamp the squad, hopefully keep our major players and obviously buy some genuine talent with the funds Moshiri is making available to the club.

It's another step in the process of turning us into a truly competitive club once more. So much to look forward to!
Oh, and for anyone who might doubt The Esk's credentials on this, he confirmed to us it was Koeman in our GOT moderator WhatsApp group at 7.34pm this evening.

Imagine the fume when Southampton hires Moyes and they stroll into Goodison and beat us......

That said, if we couldn't get Emery then Koeman is a solid choice.
