Had two separate confirmations that Koeman deal is "done" - he was clearly Moshiri's #1 target at the beginning of the process even though it looked like he'd lost that position when Emery became a possibility and received an offer.

Assuming the DoF is sorted quickly we are in a fantastic position to enjoy the summer, re-vamp the squad, hopefully keep our major players and obviously buy some genuine talent with the funds Moshiri is making available to the club.

It's another step in the process of turning us into a truly competitive club once more. So much to look forward to!

Thanks for the update. Your posts have been spot on and genuine.

If it's Koeman I'm happy.
If it is confirmed before Monday morning mate, could you do us a favour and before going into work, discreetly pop your phone in your shirt pocket, camera lens pointing out of the top, set the video rolling, stroll into the office (?), stand there with your hands on ya hips, and just give a big "Morning lads, who's ya weekend been?", and then post the fumage BANTZ on here for us. Ta.

If true, I wonder how that will affect our star players? All 3 are young and Koeman doesn't shirk from youngsters although Ward-Prowse didn't get much game time last season.
Perhaps Koeman was given an assurance that Stones & Lukaku would not be sold ...he endured enough quality youngsters being sold from under his feet over the past 2 seasons

Regardless of Koeman being the fans #1, He appeared to be Mosh's, Has to be good news that we seem to have achieved that with little fuss and press coverage. I'm sure Mosh must have seen something very special in Big Ron to have courted him so hard...Considering Mosh is a footy lad at heart...I'm taking this as extremely encouraging for our future.
