But let's give him the benefit of the doubt if he is appointed eh? Honestly, I think we're all done with the fuming and whining on here for a while. You genuinely don't know how he's going to perform with our squad and some serious financial resources.

"Stamps feet"

Lukaku /Barkley / Stones agents : Mr Moshiri can we discuss the futures of out clients?

Moshiri: Please give me 2 weeks till a world class manager is appointed.

Agents: 2 weeks have passed and youve hired Koeman? What happened to the world class manager?

Moshiri: Bill told me to hire a ginge as the last one was successful.

Agents: Our clients wish to submit transfer requests.

Statistically hes more likely to be sacked within 2 seasons than stay.

Dreadful manager and the 4th best dutch manager at most.

Disgusted if we get him.
Everyone entitled to their opinion, so fair enough. For me he's the best Dutch manager and I'll be very happy if we get him.

As far as his history goes. I'm not too bothered by mistakes he made in the past. Prefer to put more value on what you learn from those mistakes.

Was beginning to give you the benefit of the doubt, actually agreed with some of what you've said, but as they say, you've had a 'mare here.

How is he the best ? Seriously i cant see it.....Cocu and De Boer have done far more than him. Alsp tactically hes pretty shocking.

Appreciate he has a patchy managerial record prior to going to Southampton. However it is undeniable he has been an outstanding success given how that club has been run, he's really succeeded way beyond the level of support he received from his board.

He's clearly destined for big things in the future (hopefully with Everton for the next few years). He's intelligent, a good man manager and carries a huge pedigree as a footballer. I'm sure he's convinced Moshiri that he can buy into and contribute hugely to the development plan that Moshiri has for the club. It has the potential to be the start of a dynasty particularly if we have Monchi alongside as DoF.

Aside from the "super" managers and perhaps Emery, I believe we have the best and most suitable candidate for the job.

Add to that, Koeman is no spring chicken. At 52 the next decade will more or less be the prime of his career. Might be he considers us just a stepping stone but somehow I reckon he's a bit too long in thr tooth for that. Whichever way it is, he needs to achieve here.
