Koeman as manager would never have excited me 6 weeks ago when we all knew change was inevitable.
However, I shouldn't forget how grateful I am that Martinez has gone. If Koeman can restore some resilience and squad harmony then I for one will be over the moon.
Plus, armed with a sizeable war chest the change gets even more exciting.
You didn't excite me Ronald but I'm fully behind you. And honestly, 3 years ago, Martinez arrival did stir up my excitement and look how that ended up....so what do I know anyway!?

Let's get monchi now too.

I'm not underwhelmed by Koeman, if he'd have been announced before Emery was mentioned I think 90% would be happy.

I'm prepared to give him a go, he does have current PL experience, and has managed to get a Southampton side who sell their players into Europe so here's hoping he can do wonders with our apparently humungous transfer kitty/warchest/fund.

Sorry; we were sold Mourinho, we were then sold Emery and Monchi.

Both parties are proven winners.

We've ended up with Koeman.

If you're a top player do you look at our project with excitement?

Moyes blew his chance when he started mouthing of at us while he was at man u. If it so easy to win at Ajax and the rest, why haven't you done it. Moyes didn't believe in the club and always put us back in our places. Don't forget his famous words when he went to Anfield with his man u team that he can finally take a winning team to Anfield and he still lost. Anyways Moyes is just not good enough anymore, Koeman is twice the winner mentality.
We are going to rebuild this summer
We have a loads of weak players in the team
We are vulnerable

This is where Koeman pros comes in
Can rebuild
Is Strick and will sort this players out
Premiership experience
Managed over 600 games

We are not ready to fight of the title yet. Our team is a mess right now, I can understand why the board have gone for him.

If Moyes hadnt mouthed off od prefer him to koeman.

koeman won at ajax and psv when they were favourites then took them downhill soon after winning.

Totally this. We're only getting an average manager which is a safe bet and for all moshris Money I'm astounded.
I totally understand your point, but what I think we must take into account is "who are the available options"?

Emery is perhaps staying put, Jose was probably always going to Man U, so perhaps Koeman is the best of the realistically available bunch?

I wouldn't, Moyes not won anything in his life, 11 years for us and won nothing. Doesnt know how to win when the pressure is on

I'm afraid I'll have to disagree with that mate.

Also on your second point, he hasn't exactly worsened Soton's situation has he?

Who sold you Jose or Emery or Monchi. The press and Itk on here. The club said nothing. Only fools believed we could get Jose while man u were sniffing around him.
