I think Koeman coming to Everton needs to be viewed in this context.

Even though we met and interviewed a fair number of candidates including Emery and Jose, Koeman was Moshiri's number 1 choice even before Martinez had left the club.

I can go into the vaults and back through twitter if anyone is doubting that. Moshiri has got the man he wanted.

In all seriousness in his last 2 jobs he's done well. It looks like he's learnt from his mistakes from his earlier jobs and become a better manager for it.

Yes, hopefully. There are 3 Dutch guys who work for our company and the 3 of them are excited for Everton, they only have good things to say about him.

I can't remember who they beat last season when I watched him being interviewed after the game but it was one of the top sides.
He just didn't get excited at all and said they played just 'ok', but he thought there were things they could work on that week.
Made me think he is never happy, always a good sign I think.

Why are we all talking like its a done deal!! So'ton fans still saying its not happening. Soton FC saying its not happening, South Coast media saying he is signing a new contract.....nothing concrete atall in any media/club info etc etc

i dont need the vaults as i specifically remember this with my powerful memory, i reckon he specifically wanted someone with proven prem league experience who can re-build a club

Martinez spent about £100m here, and only lost one key first teamer in Fellaini in doing so.

Koeman lost Clyne, Lallana, Lambert, Shaw, Schneiderlin, Lovren and Chambers.....and yet still took them forwards.
