The daily echo? Are saying Southampton very relaxed about it all, no approach has been made and they are still very hopeful he will sign new contract at Southampton
Southampton have a weird habit of making themselves look stupid by letting the press know how unconcerned they are about clubs wanting their players/manager, and then seeing said player/manager leave. They did it with Pochettino, they had that weird thing with Alderweireld where they told the press they were signing him just before he signed for Spurs, and they told the press last week that they were so unconcerned about us wanting Koeman that they hadn't even had a board meeting about it.

It's like they're trying to act like a massive club when they're not one and it keeps backfiring.

I find it interesting that Koeman is Moshiri's number 1. Considering that Moshiri was an owner of Arsenal and there seems to always be links of Koeman to Arsenal when Wenger goes. I wonder if that's what Moshiri and Usmanov wanted when at Arsenal but obviously Kroenke would stick with Wenger. So now Moshiri finally has a chance at putting him in as manager at his own club.

and usmanov will follow.....

We need to stick together here boys, regardless of what you think, Moshiri has got his man, if it's true of course.
How many times in the last 20 years could we say that our owner has stuck to our motto of Nil Satis Nisi Optimum, he obviously thought Koeman was the best man and he has got him.

I also think he may not have fancied becoming the new Sevilla, with both Emery and Monchi.

Plenty of bargains to be had this summer as well.

Carlos bakka was linked to West ham for under 20 million. That would solve a goalscorer problem straight away.

Wanyama & Ward-Prowse for me.

Wanyama is a beast of a player and the ideal replacement for Barry whilst Ward-Prowse is a 100% upgrade on McCarthy. We have Davies coming through there as well.

Tadic would be lovely on the left also.

If Moyes hadnt mouthed off od prefer him to koeman.

koeman won at ajax and psv when they were favourites then took them downhill soon after winning.

My God never commented on what you have written before but this is the most stupid comment in 3000 comments, should have a good look at yourself and get behind any new manager we get, Moyes for god sake.........Jebus!

Read an item about his tactics last night and it basically said that his teams work hard off the ball and cut off the space between the lines whereas most English teams have the habit of dropping a few yds the moment they lose possession. Its an interesting article but cannot find the link on here as so many pages. Evertons glaring weakness over the last 2 seasons has been the inability to close down space and allow the other team to play dangerous passes without a hint of pressing. (most games anyhow). We have half decent players here and if Koeman put discipline into our off ball play then we would see a vast improvement.

Bony, Long, Drinkwater, Mata and Forster would do me for a summers buying
Also a decent centre half but theres fuk all of them around anymore
