It would depend on the following

Getting a good Goalkeeper in

Keeping both Rom and Stones and getting them playing again Or Replacing Rom and Stones with signings of equal ability

Signing some actual wingers

Actually organising a defence properly

Making use of the young players we have, such as Barkley, Deulofeu, Pennington

If he can do that, he may have a chance

More than likely though, we'll be looking at finishing between 8th-6th, which I'll be happy with as a first season so long as it looks like we're moving in the right direction
There is a lot of work to be done. I would say it would be impossible for even 30% of it to be done this Summer

There's a certain talented lad coming back from a loan spell who can play on the wing mate.........

You even share a name......
mcaleny is not cut out for premier league football with everton fc, neither was duffy, neither is leigh griffiths, neither is half the people you suggest.

Literally chill out, and raise your expectations with regards to players because at the moment as long as they're young-ish you seem to accept sub-standard performers.

mcalenly will move to a league one club and either fail miserably or do half a job.

Hang on, how can you rate him highly yet also think he's not good enough?

That's a contradiction living within a tautology, sharing living space with a conundrum
Why are you persisting on hyping up a 23 year old who hasn't even been able to be consistently good for Wigan in League One as good enough for the first team?
He's simply at this moment in time not good enough for the Premier League.

Shane Duffy will back in the Premier League within the next 2 years (Barring an horrific injury)

Mark my words

Can't tell if you're being sarcastic here? We just finished bottom half two seasons on the bounce.
That was diet sarcasm mate, trying to cut out the full fat stuff.
Just hoping we're aiming higher than 4th soon. In all fairness we finished bottom half for one reason only, Roberto.
Really think with all the new managers and players starting the prem fresh next season makes for another great chance to get amongst it. Of course that hinges on getting a decent manager signed (which Koeman is) and him strengthening where we need it.
Tall order like, but we have aim high.
