Our club does seem to do things the correct way, get permission from the club then speak to the player but I do hope we have spoke to Koeman agent behind the scenes.

Dutch press last night were quoting his agent as saying the deal between Everton and Koeman is agreed.

If Moshiri is spending £5m just to get Koeman, if it's Overmars or Monchi as DoF he wants safe to say he'll spend the cash to get them in.

If we don't get Monchi, it won't be for lack of cash that's for sure!

He can have a rest on the flight over here - sure we can stretch to business class so he can get his feet up for a bit.

Mate, don't fret. It will be done - it most likely already is - as @The Esk has said, the deal with Koeman is agreed.

The 'hold up' is the compo with Sotton, and the massive face-saving exercise they are going through to try and come out of this situation making us and RK look like the bad guys - when it's now known that they gave us permission to speak to RK weeks ago.

I expect everything will go smoothly and it'll be announced Monday.

I know this is Everton, and we shouldn't count our chickens like, but it seems to be done...
