Haha.. Yeah. Iv heard that!!My uncle used to train with him, apparently he can be.....difficult to work with
The money they would want for him, we could get better from around Europe IMO.
A bit of a false claim that though isn't it? 4 seasons ago you got back in to the PL, and you came 12th and we came 6th. 3 seasons ago we finished 5th with our record points total in the PL era, brought in a player who would go on to become our record transfer fee at £28m, whilst you came below us (again), in 8th.
Your fans really are letting this 6th placed finish go to your heads, and have your heads in the sand that you have now surpassed us as a club and team just because we underachieved in the past 2 seasons with a stubborn clueless manager. The reality is we have a very talented squad, and i'd say it's arguably just as good as yours, if not better. Except you have had a manager in charge who got the best out of his players and we didn't.
You lot need to knock this delusion on the head. You finished higher than us in the past 2 seasons, congratulations and it was thoroughly deserved. But Stoke finished ahead of Chelsea last season. Which club has the brighter future?
we were 1 place behind them last season, knocked them out the cup and refused to sell them our best defender, hardly nowhere near them!I'm not trying to say we're bigger than you but, most fans only remember the last season or two about Clubs that are not their own.
For god knows how many years you've been better in league terms then Man City and Chelsea but, the last 3 or 4 years you've been nowhere near them. You may or may not ever be again, no one knows. One thing I do know, no club will dominate this League forever!
Imagine us getting in a new, talented manager backed by a new billionaire owner and we're sitting here creaming our pants over a fitness coach.
hahaha
Agreed. More fans the better, wherever they are.even more support man utd in norway. Many in england supports liverpool also. Wouldn't it be better if we had even more blues from norway instead of even more liverpoolsupporters from norway? The way many blues talk about norwegians in general makes it harder to get supporters from norway imo, and I think thats a negative.
Was it euro 96? He pulled Platt down in the box and the ref waved play on..
Graham Taylor going absolutely berserk on the side lines...
That was his famous 'do I not like orange...!' Line..

So that's not going in different directions then!
I wanted emery too but thought nah the club needs stability after Martinez rubbish so I reckon koeman is a good shout for the club I'm happy with it mateI'm not questioning his Southampton career, just always thought he would do a Laudrup... Media darling then disappear.
That said I wanted emery but that isn't happening....
You are right but as I say, there has been a major regime shift this summer for us. I have no idea how we will do but we are in a better position off the pitch than we have been during the premier league.I'm not trying to say we're bigger than you but, most fans only remember the last season or two about Clubs that are not their own.

I'm sorry mate but that doesn't stack up. Over the last 3 years we have been to two semi finals (last year) been the last English club in Europe (season before) and got 72 points 2 years ago (enough to finish 2nd). This is hardly "going in the wrong direction". We have built up a very talented squad which is now younger than 3-4 years ago. What we had before was a manager at the helm who mismanaged them and underachieved. He has been removed now and I am sure whoever follows him on will do very well.
Hardly "separate directions". In the 4 years you site we have finished above you in half of them. We also boast the highest league finish, highest number of points and best performance in all cup competitions and European football within the time frame. This is hardy "travelling in opposite directions" and far from just arguing it we can point out it's simply untrue.
Southampton are a well run club too though. I like what you are doing there and I think with the right appointment you will remain in the top 10. I've got a soft spot for you and it has made me laugh seeing you outperform Liverpool the last couple of seasons!
